Conservative candidate for Headington Hill & Northway, Marc Borja, has long campaigned for improvements to our recreation grounds and children's play areas.  During the 2008 City Council election the Conservatives campaigned to reject the Liberal plans to close many children's play areas across the City, arguing that 25 years of Labour underfunding had made many of them delapidated.  The Labour Party made promises during the electionto put right the play areas.
